Memorial Day Field Day/Fair

So Adrienne and I were talking while shooting things with arrows this afternoon and we thought, since Memorial Day's coming up this Monday, it'd be fun to do a Field Day/Fair type thing so everybody could get together and have fun. Like three-legged races, bean bag tosses, a dunk tank, food eating contests, egg races, climbing contests, obstacle courses, rock climbing, ultimate frisbee, baseball, archery. We're taking ideas for other stuff, so feel free to make suggestions. Also, lots of food, mostly grilling, and swimming in this lake people keep telling me about if it's warm enough. Or there's a pool, right? So loads of stuff for everyone to do. Everybody should come. Yes, there will be alcohol for people who're legal.

Well, I could be persuaded to do something with a dunk tank. Only caveat is that I may cheat and would need to have some wine or beer near by.

I am more than certain we could rig something up to get you nice and wet without being completely submerged. I mean, I could not, my construction days are well behind me but someone could.

*sigh* My therapist is basically telling me to do the thing, so.

So we will do the thing! And it will be glorious!

I think we can make this whatever kind of tank you'd like, breakfast friend.

Well now! A wine dunk tank is the things that dreams are made of. Mostly my dreams. (Though the sad reality would be that it is a waste of good wine and a terrible thing to happen to my swimsuit.)

We could give you a bottle of wine and every time someone dunks you, you get a drink. Or maybe just every time someone dunks you, you get a bottle of wine.

You are a genius. You may stay. And fetch me wine when I get dunked.

I will do that happily.

Making enough for a dunk tank seems extremely time-consuming and you seem to have little enough free time as it is.

That is true. We could get someone else to make the pudding?

You mean like a store from which I would then purchase said pudding?
