Hey everybody, just wanted to make sure you guys were all aware that tomorrow's the day Forge, Molly, and me will be working on replacing some out of date wiring and upgrading some of the pieces of equipment for the mansion's power stuff. Don't worry, me not being an electrical engineer of any kind, I'll be running the wires where Forge and Molly tell me. They'll be doing the actual upgrades.

This means basically that nobody should notice anything actually going on. We've already checked the secure, underground power lines for all the important and/or potentially deadly/very dangerous equipment. They'll be fine. We'll also make sure the backup generators are up and running before we shut off the mains. There might be a flicker as the changeover happens, but nothing extreme.

We'll let you know when everything's back up and running, but you might notice the same sort of flicker as the mains come back online.

Boss, you’re making me wonder if I should transplant some main kitchen refrigerated food to the Chapel or wherever’s closest to where you’ll be working so you can have access to some food before and after you work. Let me know if this a something you want and I’ll pick the nicest food items just for y’all.

Tomorrow’s my mansion library shift so if you make books magically fly off the shelf I’m leaving immediately actually.

It's definitely not the plan. We're gonna try and keep the backup generators on during the upgrade, then it should flip back over without a hitch.

oh, we have power, backup power and special medlab power. don't you worry your head about us. and we're not even unique - all hospitals have multiple backups for things. no one wants to hand bag someone on life support (and we don't have anyone needing that now anyways)

Yep, I like being useful! And EE wasn't my major, but there's enough overlap that I know my way around some wires.
