open poll

baby names - both boy & girl. and nothing stupid like "Apple."

EDIT: nothing from Asgard because they have weird unpronouncable names.

Arnbjorn. Or Rannveig.

...it's possible I'm biased. I wonder how they're doing.

My boyfriend thinks he is funny.

Fortunatly, he is much of the time. Those are people that he spent time with in Asgard.

Has no one explained Asgard to you?

Arnbjorn is pronounced "Arn" as in Arm, only with an "n",and bjorn, rather like bjork, but also with an "n"

Rannvieg is pronounced "Ran-veg.", I believe.

*g* Henry is a fine name, no matter what Forge may say about it.

Bjork is a singer, I think.

I've always liked Amelia or Katrina, personally.

No more unpronouncable than any random Scandanavian name. :)

How about Joseph or Jeremy for a boy? And anything but Elizabeth for a girl. There're already too many Elizabeths around, and most of them are in my family.

You have absconded with my fellow girly-girl genius and now you taunt me with the Disney-ness of it all. Darn you.

Bjork is to music what Joan Miro is to art.

Sakura is a very popular and beautiful girl's name. It means "cherry blossom." Akemi ("bright and beautiful"), Minako ("beautiful child"), and Kohaku ("amber child") are also good girl names.

For boys, the best is Akira ("intelligence"). Other good ones are Katsuro ("victorious child"), Sho ("brilliant"), and Yoshi ("good luck").

Although given your ethnicity, none of these are suitable. But you asked for suggestions.

Gonna hold you to that. :D
