For those interested in Tai Chi
I've found a school wiling to accept a new class, although it'll depend on how many of us go in terms of how many classes a week they'll offer us. Miles and I will be attending regularly and I know some of you wanted to join as well. If you're still interested, please comment so that I can do a final headcount before calling up the school with an official number. (Jubilee - for when you wake up, I'm already counting you in on this.)
Note: there'll be practice in the morning two to three times a week here at the mansion to accompany the classes.

I suppose...
I'm in, schedule permitting.
Salaam,
Haroun
Noted!

I won't even snort when they ask me to find my center.

Good girl. ;)

Overachiever? What? No!
That's the rumor.

Pot to your kettle.
Ah. Rumours...
no subject
Aw. We should make Christmas cards together or something.
Yes. You know how those are. Generally untrue but better for the masses.
no subject
Miles already has plans there. You volunteering? It can be the green and red bits on your schedule.
Mmm. Oh, just a few times in the tabloids, yeah... Will not comment on that thing about the masses. Nope. Won't.

I'm not very creative, but I'm quite anal. Would that help? I have no clue.
That's why I was talking about here masses! Wait, that's no better.

If you take orders well from a determined seven year old, possibly. Although I can tell you now he has no intention of color coding the time schedule on card making. I've been warned. ;)
My point!!!
no subject
...no color coding? But... butbut...
A point that needed three exclamation points. That is one big point indeed.
no subject
He said something about all the colors being for the cards and that was that. I know better than to argue.
Massive point. (What was the point again?)
no subject
Well, I suppose that's okay then. And white can stand for snow which can stand for Christmas card making time in my dayplanner. Or something.
The Massive Point That Ate New York. (I forget.)

Isn't white the color of the paper of the dayplanner? Just wondering. Must not be much white in your planner.
Wasn't Godzilla, in that movie with Broderick and Jean Reno in it?
no subject
White is the color of my dayplanner! Fill in the rest.
I have no idea. I hear Moth Men sometimes take a shot at, though.

Nevermind. Simply count me in. I will -make- time.

Consider it done.
Re: ...
Should.. is there anything I should know about this before I start, or .. I have ...
Why am I having so many problems with English today?
This is not going to be like Sif taught, yes?
Re: ...
No, it's not. Not at all. Tai Chi is a soft martial arts form. Read for yourself. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tai_chi) :)
Re: ...
Re: ...
Besides. Am I anything even remotely like New Age? Or pretty? Exactly.
So, by all means, find me a good Aikido place that can work around my schedule and I'll be more than willing to compare and contrast the two.
Re: ...
I do not know any good schools of aikido around here, so I'm afraid I can't help you out. My own knowledge of it is limited, so I am certainly nowhere qualified to teach. But doesn't Doug take lessons? Or am I making that up?
Re: ...
I have not a clue about Doug, actually. I'll be sure to ask. If you do hear anything about a good school, let know?

I am curious about if he would be good at it or not, after how quickly he picked up other things.
Re: ...
(And by "other things" I'm going to assume you meant that whatsit redirected-motion-throwing-people-around martial art he's already studying. If you meant other other things please leave me to my ignorance. :))

Thank goodness for flexible schedules...
Oh, and Shiro? Speed up tai chi and you have some quite devastating moves. Ever hear of wu shu? Same thing, only faster.
Re: Thank goodness for flexible schedules...
I'll even come and get you and drag you away from the medlab and all... I'm sure Moira and Hank won't mind scheduling so that you can come at least once a week.
Shhh! I wasn't telling him for a reason! Finding out on his own would have been so enlightening!
Re: Thank goodness for flexible schedules...
Is Hank even back yet? I may have missed him in all the excitement of the last week. But yes, please, take me away from all this, at least once a week. There are limits to the emergencies we humble medicos can deal with, and I'm rapidly reaching mine.
When you dumped him on his ass, you mean? *looks innocent* Sorry for letting the feline out of the carrying device...
Re: Thank goodness for flexible schedules...
I'll keep you to the once a week thing. (I can do with away time too now and then and boy is TC good for that!)
Was not! *grins* I was just going to wait for the day to come and well, maybe help a little bit yes?
Re: Thank goodness for flexible schedules...
And if something does spring up, well, we have the means to retrive you rather quickly.
Plus to having a teleporter medical assistant, no?
