Because of the extreme cold weather warnings in New York and other places today and tomorrow, Red X is calling for help providing blankets, food and shelter for the homeless who are exposed. They are especially looking for those who have heat powers (for helping keep people warm while places are found for them) and for those who can stand the cold for a long time (for staying out and looking for people without getting frostbite themselves), but anyone is welcome who is wanting to help.

Let me know if you are interested and I will make the arrangements. Tonight especially is going to be very cold out there.

My 2014 knitting stash was given to Tandy's uncle's shelter at Thanksgiving like usual, but since then I've made a couple pairs of mitts and what Kane and Logan will probably insist I call toques. I also have some infinity scarves and cowls. They're all yours for the taking.

I can also send Sue and/or Tandy shopping with one of my credit cards for blankets and food if that would help.
