It has come to my attention that a matter, which until now had been addressed privately, may be in need of a public word as well. Many of you are aware that an incident recently took place between a staff member and a mansion resident. Both individuals have been reprimanded for their actions and steps have been taken to ensure that future incidents will not occur. I want to take this opportunity to remind you all that offensive powers use is strictly prohibited on-campus except in appropriate, supervised settings. Additionally, please keep in mind that though you may be unaware of the specific consequences, we do take incidents like this seriously and they were immediately addressed.

If anyone has any further questions or concerns, please remember that my door is always open. Your headmaster, headmistress, guidance counselor, resident advisors, and any other staff you feel comfortable talking to are also available should you feel the need to discuss this further. I am hoping that this will put a stop to the rumors I have heard swirling around campus and that we can all move on now, perhaps with a new lesson learned.
