The final medical results for our prodigals is that beyond some dietary deficiencies (I take it Asgardians are exactly big on the vegetables?), some odd cuts and scrapes, and Jamie's fleas, is that everyone is healthy and well.

There will be an adjustment period whilst they get used to modern food again - anyone experiencing undue discomfort can see one of us in the medlab for some medication. Try and stick to plain foods for now, until your systems readjust, and lots of water.

It's good to have you all home.

Well, wolves aren't.

No, they -really- were not big on vegetables. Except turnips. I do not know what the obsession with turnips was, but they had a lot of them.

Possibly turnips grow well in the cold, maybe.

I think it helped that I'd tried a little hunting here, too. Not so much with the vitamins, but with getting used to eating mostly raw meat.

And thank you. :)

Yeah, once I was off the Magic Applesauce Diet it was pretty much meat-n-potatoes until we got home. I could've about killed for an orange.

I am, correcting for gender, and even I started getting a little sick of meat.

If I don't see anything of the sort for a while, I'll be happy.

Man. Party this weekend? NO meat and potatoes.None. We do not do the food thing, just decors.

Desserts? Honey bread, and berries, and stuff.

Negociable.

I didn't get to see much of those in Asgard, sadly. There was this old woman in the forest at one point...

Hell, even the Bottomless Pit of Brighton was getting tired of meat and starch after a while... Thank fuck for me mutation - otherwise I'd have come back the size of a house.

Well, dragons can be off-putting. Unless they're relatives . . . and then they're still off-putting, but you can't lock the door on them without insulting them.

Heh.

People did seem to over-react to poor sweet Frank a lot. The locked doors didn't seem to bother him much, mind.

Not even venison or rabbit? I'd even cook it, I promise. ;)

You have experience with overreacting to Frank, don't you, Ms. Blaire?

Maybe.

Did you know lasers really aren't worth much at all when it comes to cooking? I learned that the hard way.

Cheeky thing, you are.

(I guess he was a bit impressive on first sight for them. Maybe. Pbhhht!)

Apparently I was the odd man out

I had plenty of grains and porridge to eat.

I kind of liked the cuisine. Roasted meat, grain, potatoes - but then again, half the time Loki just conjured dinner, and apparently he's as tired of the local cuisine as the rest of you all were.
