Or failing volunteers, I'll start drafting.

As you all know (because you read the memos that we put in your mailboxes, yes?) we will be having an actual Prom for Xavier's on May 26th.

I've been doing all the heavy lifting so far. We have a place booked, we have rentals ordered. But now I require assistance from you, the students and otherwise.

First, you must suggest prom themes so that I may get decorations.

Second, you must volunteer yourselves so that I may have appropriate amounts of manual labor in order to do all the decorating.




I'm aware this is a strange time to be doing this but we all need a little distraction right now.

Yes, I'll let you have a glue gun but other people have to help too, Jamie. You don't get to be a one man prom committee.

What sorts of themes? Are there any rules about what we can and cannot suggest?

Can we go even if we have already graduated, and happened to not have prom previously?

Yes, graduated students can go, though you might be roped into chaperoning if I'm feeling cranky.

Themes should lend themselves to romance, or at the very least a nice time. I'm ignoring anything that requires giant robots.

Giant robots can be romantic. I am sure it could be done somehow, but I fear that would result in Jamie requesting paper mache giant robots and I have already had one traumatic expierence with paper mache in this life.

I have no good ideas for themes, but I promise to prevent Doug from explaining his grand plan for Star Wars: The Prom.
