We seem to have a supply and demand problem when it comes to computing power - although it seems to me to be more of a scheduling problem than anything else. I'd been leaving it to those who need serious amounts of time with the mainframe to sort it out among themselves, but recent events make me think I should perhaps step in.

So, if all of you who do engage in various types of high-level computer usage could send me a rough assessment of your computing needs for, say, the next two weeks, I'll see if I can sort out a schedule.

Not a problem. Dr. McCoy used to have a process set up for it, but it appeared to have been discontinued when he left. That seems like the most elegant and effective solution.

Actually, I was thinking I'd just forgo causing any more difficulty and use the computer lab at Westchester U., since I'm taking summer school classes there, and generally I've been working on projects for classes.

If I wind up coming up with any out-of-class ideas, I'll be sure to run them by the group, though.
