But we - myself and the Professor, and Doctor Samson as well - were strategizing a little, given how significant a piece of news this is. If you've noticed any staff members looking terribly preoccupied so far today, this is why. The news came in fairly late last night. Before I go on, I want to tell all of you that our doors will be open, if you need to talk about this - and you might.

It's good news, but strange news, is the best way I can think of to put it. Yesterday, Illyana Rasputin had a teleportational accident when she got caught up in a powers interaction in New York. To make a long story short, she wound up in Attilan - which is apparently entirely intact, but has been shifted into some sort of alternate dimension, by itself.

The best part of this news is that Forge, Crystal and Medusa are all alive and well.

It's complicated in that neither we nor they know what caused this to happen, or how to reverse it. But the Professor's sent the news along to the people in authority in various countries who should know, and he and a number of other specialists in mutation are going to be trying to figure out what happened. There are going to be a lot of very smart people working on this, so I want you to all to be hopeful.

What's important is that they're out there.

Not that easy, I'm afraid. Illyana got there by a fluke - her powers, plus mine, plus Wanda's. She's got no idea which dimension she was in. We're working on it, tho', along with all the boffin types who do this sort of thing for a living.
