Amanda has returned home. Her recent actions were the result of unknown manipulations to artifically increase her powers, in order to set her up and put her in the position to be used. Fortunately, her friends were able to stop it and reverse the effects without any lasting reprecussion.

Actually, I got told that my word wasn't acceptable in this case - have a look in the thread Monet started. Remy's had all the reports of what happened in, not just from me but from the rest of the group who was there, and he's doing as was asked.

I was having a bit of a powers issue - a boost I couldn't explain. Since there's some history to that happening under 'going evil' circumstances, and Monet listened to the wrong gossip, she asked about it, questions were asked and answers demanded. Remy's providing the answers, because as has been pointed out, my word isn't particularly believable with the history of lying about power boosts before.

We worked out what was going on - someone boosting my powers for their own use - and went and sorted it out. The problem's gone and my powers are back to normal. Or they will be in a few days - the magic's out at the moment on account of overuse.

So while there wasn't really anything you needed to worry about, some people were, and in the interests of making them not worry any more, Remy posted this and I'm letting people know I'm okay to talk about most of it. So I'd appreciate it if you stop trying to stick up for me, or have a dig at Remy, or whatever it is you're doing because you're bored, yeah?

Sweetie, this isn't a boredom issue. There was a random post on the journal, I wanted to know why, and look, there's my answer with some extra snarkiness thrown in.

Tell that to Lorna. And apologies for the snark - seeing how I just mentioned my mother died last weekend, being asked "was something going on?" didn't sit well. Neither does having a go at Remy for doing what I asked him to.

Okay, how many of us here are Lorna? Do we all have green hair now? Do we cook? I wasn't aware that something one or two people said stands for all of us.

Also? Sorry. My attention span is not of teh strong at a normal point in time, and especially not right now. All you had to say was "shut up Jennie, my mother died," and that would have solved everything.
