As part of the music class, I'll be taking students out to a few concerts and shows during the summer.

You can check out listings of who is on tour or what shows are playing here and here - stick to the NY area obviously, when selecting a suggestion. You can look up other resources too for info as well, of course.

However, this is hardly restricted to only the music class students. Anyone else, students or staff wanting to see a show should speak up... I still have a few contacts in the industry and should be able to get good tickets to most anything.

They're great, and they're local. I've wanted to see them so badly, ever since I got here, but I keep missing their concerts.

Well, we'll have to leave early enough on Saturday that we make it in time, then. :) Do they have CDs? Because it sounds like they'd be a good group to send to my mom.

It doesn't say. But none of the stages open before ten, so it shouldn't be too hard to make it.
