Good afternoon.

No doubt you are all aware of the earthquake that devastated Pakistan last week. I have just spoken to Dr. Vasco Di Alvito and Dr. Jane Watts from the Red Cross - they are requesting urgent help from the Red X team at a refugee camp in North Pakistan. They have come to us following your work in Sri Lanka and Afghanistan - they know what you are capable of.

In light of the scope of the situation, I would like to ask that the New Mutants who aren't part of Red X also consider going, along with any staff that are available.

The group will be departing Wednesday evening. Please let either your teachers or myself know if you are willing to help.

I suppose I classify as 'staff' - mon dieu, when did I become an adult with responsibilities? In any event, I am more than willing to lend assistance should it be needed.
