We've had a courtesy call to let us know the FOHers from the rally appear to be returning to normal. They're being transferred from SHIELD holding to Muir Island for monitoring and further treatment.

There isn't yet any news on what caused the manifestations, but there haven't been any reports of repeat incidents, either. Dr. MacTaggart and her staff will be running more tests to see if they can get a better idea of what happened.

Normal like gaining control or normal like not mutants anymore?

I've been keeping my ear to the ground in the District too, but nobody knows anything. Whoever did this, they haven't been bragging about it around here.

Not mutants anymore. From a very brief conversation with Moira, I can parrot that the initial test results came back showing "markers similar to mutant, but with anomalous elements", and that subsequent tests are showing a return to baseline. There will be a little more information in the team database, but unfortunately not much. About a third of the victims claimed to have been tested before the event and read as negative, though, so unless there was a massive screw-up at the lab it seems unlikely they were all latents.

No specific word from or about him yet, but apparently his father has been in contact about joining him at Muir. If nothing else, it's unlikely either of them will need to worry about the local reactions for a while.
