Hello to you all, old and new faces.

You may have heard that I was recently ill. That is correct - as a result of the events of New Year's Eve, I suffered a minor stroke and was confined to the medlab for a time.

Today I have been granted my release papers, so to speak, and while I have been expressly forbidden by Drs. Reyes and Voght from performing the full range of my previous duties, I hope to be back in my office sooner rather than later. There is much to be done.

I would also like to offer my assistance to anyone suffering unduly from recent events. While my telepathy is, unfortunately, greatly reduced for the time being, my more "ordinary" skills, including my counselling abilities, remain intact and my door is, as it always has been, open for those needing my help.

My thanks to the medical staff for their care and concern over my well-being. It is good to be back among you all.
