New kid!

Well! When I was told "mansion," I certainly didn't expect one this big. Hey everyone! Name's Tabitha Smith but some of my friends call me Boom Boom or Meltdown. (Chocolate for those who can guess why!) Got here kind of late last night, talked to the Wheels (er, I guess I should call him Professor now, huh?) and then immediately collapsed into bed. Usually I'm not such an early bird but after sleeping in uncomfortably cheap hotel rooms and even cheaper hostels, a real bed is just heaven. Spend most of the day getting oriented although that didn't work out too well. :) I was also told that we all have to keep journals here. Cool beans! I've always wanted to keep a journal before but I was always so busy on the road with my friends that it was more fun just living the experiences than concentrating on trying to write it all down.

Traveled around with a bunch of mutant friends for awhile but figured I should probably stay in one place for at least longer than a week. And with this bed, you can bet I'm staying. So if you see someone you don't recognize wandering down the halls tomorrow bopping along to their cd player, it's probably me. If any of you volunteer to help me out around here, I'd be extremely grateful. I swear I don't bite. ;)

Wow. I got people volunteering to take me around and now cook for me. You guys must not get a lot of new people here, huh? I shall definitely take you up on your offer and then giggle as the so-called Madness begins.

Not a whole lot of new people, no. Though the rest of the school will likely tell you that I rarely pass up an opportunity to cook. Speaking of which, to really get you a taste of the madness, I suppose they should all be invited to said dinner.

Oh goodness, you cook whatever you want to cook. I'm not choosy. :) So how many people actually live here anyways? Something tells me this is going to be like the time I ate dinner with the entire Rent cast. Now *that* was La Vie Boheme. ;)

Careful when you let her chose what she cooks. She tends to go a bit over the top sometimes, right hun?

And if you don't like it, you might find yourself pinned to a wall with forks... ;)

That's okay. My frends and I went camping once and ran out of food two days into the trip--good idea, poor planning heh--and met some other campers who shared their squirrel with us. Believe me, my taste buds aren't picky.

Forks? Pssht. I can do better than that. ;)

I have never tried to pin anyone for not liking my cooking, just for being obstinate about trying it.

And there is nothing over the top about my menus. They're balanced and well-thought-out. *nods*
