To welcome our newest denizen in this place that we call home, I shall cook. Try not to look too shocked. Since I was not given a particular menu, there will be a couple of different entree selections.

Dinner will be served at 7:30. Show up, say hello, acquire food, retreat to your places of hiding. It's a system that should work for even the most antisocial among us.

In the meantime, I shall be in the kitchen. You may feel free to leave comments here if you've got a food wishlist but remember that I've only got about six hours at this point.

Speaking as someone who's not one of the most antisocial in the mansion, I'll definitely be there with bells on. Socialization and food by Lorna. I fail to see a downside. *grin*

It's ok, I ended up making something for myself anyway. I don't normally keep kosher, so you really don't have to worry most of the time.

Well, I'd call dinner a success. So do people usually make their own food around here or are their set days when a specific person cooks? Goodness knows I never had much time to learn. I am, however, an expert on sandwiches. ;) But I suppose I'm not too horrible if the drummer from Aerosmith liked my chocolate cookies. But really, after a show like that, he probably would've eaten anything to get his strength back. :)
