World Cup 2022

Head's up, the World Cup starts tomorrow! I am not watching the actual matches for Reasons™️ but I do have one of the smaller TV rooms reserved so I can hear WC news and see highlights instead. (Not me trying to balance my interest in the footy with minimal propping up of Qatar and their gross human rights violations, nope.)

Anyway. There's gonna be snacks available, mostly stuff that doesn't have to be refrigerated. Bring your own beverages because the mini fridge doesn't have space for drinks because it is full of dips and salsas.

The salsa in the glass container with the biohazard sticker on it is the dip equivalent of the One Chip challenge. It's mostly for Doug and the other people that like waging war on their tastebuds. Eat it at your own risk. I am not responsible for choking, coughing, burns, gastrointestinal and anal upset, or emergency medical visits. If you try it, please wipe any spills because it's a little corrosive.

If there's a specific match you want to view let me know and I'll make sure it's on. It might not be in English, but I'll find it.

Oh, yeah, I totally know the pain. The Reasons (TM) pain, not the spicy salsa pain. I love soccer and I've watched the World Cup since I was a kid, but damnit, I can't support it this year, not with the human and mutant rights abuses in Qatar. So I'll be joining you with the news and results and not the actual coverage. :P

Yep, can't even enjoy the US men not completely choking it. Not that I actually cheer for them, the big disappointments.

That's why it's in the glass container! It ate a hole in the compost-friendly one. Peppers. I had Doug order a bunch and I don't even know what the ratio ended up being but at least one of them doesn't even have a Scoville rating yet. Those hybrid pepper farmers dude. They're scary.

That said, I bet I could make a dangerous self-defense pepper spray if I leave the tomatoes and seasoning out.

If the two of you mix the one chip and one salsa challenge together... actually don't. I legit forbid either of you to do this for health reasons and I'll ask Ange to back me. At least an hour between each, okay? No Epi-pen incidents where they can be avoided.
