Making this official
Jan. 7th, 2004 08:34 pmAs of today, I am no longer a student counselor. This is a choice I've made for largely personal reasons and that has been a while in the making. As such, Hank will be removing my access to the
x_students community per my request, effective immediately.
Anyone wishing to talk with me, on a purely unofficial basis since there is hardly anything official about talking to me now, will as always be more than welcome to do so – that's never changed after all, either before or during the time I was a student counselor. Should anyone be looking for me this evening, for whatever reasons ranging from simply wanting company to the sky about to fall on our heads, will find me in the music room teaching Miles how to read and write. He's rather enthused about the notion and frankly, that makes it all the more important to me as well.

Date: 2004-01-08 04:50 am (UTC)I could use someone to talk to, though it can easily wait until tomorrow. It's waited this long, and I don't want to take you from something your boy enjoys so much.

Date: 2004-01-08 04:57 am (UTC)And tomorrow sounds like a fine idea. Early morning good for you? I'm back to weird sleeping hours these days, but after my morning run sounds lovely - or you could join me for it, if you'd like.

Date: 2004-01-08 04:59 am (UTC)Joining you in a run sounds like a nice idea. When should I be up?

Date: 2004-01-08 05:26 am (UTC)5.30 am is good if you're quick to be ready, and meet me at the front door at 5.55am sharp.

Date: 2004-01-08 04:58 am (UTC)If I did anything to cause this, I'm sorry though. I've not been myself lately, I think.
Re: ...
Date: 2004-01-08 05:08 am (UTC)Also, I'd like for you to keep seeing Hank, and maybe keep a sleep pattern log - along with the number of hours you manage to get in. It should help Hank figure out a treatment to make sure you don't go right into sleep deprivation. Lack of sleep is a Bad Thing.
Re: ...
Date: 2004-01-08 05:10 am (UTC)What happens to someone when they have sleep deprivation?
Re: ...
Date: 2004-01-08 05:18 am (UTC)And keep in mind that Hank has seen you already, and he'd know if you were suffering this. And you'll keep right on seeing him too.
We can talk tomorrow or during the weekend about the nightmares, or maybe even get some talking in while we take Manuel shopping. I expect he'll be distracted ogling the keyboards, if nothing else. ;)
Re: ...
Date: 2004-01-08 05:23 am (UTC)Or any nightmares, really. They vary.
Any time that you are free and not busy, is fine for me.
Keyboards, and CD's and speakers. Manuel seems very enthuastic about all things musical. Which reminds me that I have to burn him copies of CD's so I can get mine back. He managed to talk me into lending them.
Re: ...
Date: 2004-01-08 05:51 am (UTC)Hrm. Don't let me go too overboard on the music shopping spree, mmm? Then again... I could do with a new - oh boy. Hang on to your hat, tomorrow will be fun.

Date: 2004-01-08 05:56 am (UTC)And hrm. Something we should know, Sarah?
Re: ...
Date: 2004-01-08 06:21 am (UTC)The nightmares don't happen every day, but they do happen a lot more than they used to.
Re: ...
Date: 2004-01-08 06:42 am (UTC)Of course she'd say, not a doubt about it.
That's annoying. Very much so. Well, they say talking helps. We'll try that and add it to Hank monitoring your sleep patterns, and see what we get. :)

You have to wait 'till we're done with him playing the piano though. K?
*hugs*

Date: 2004-01-08 06:37 am (UTC)Am recording Miles singing out the alphabet. Is that silly of me?
*does anyway, ah*
I have just figured something out.
Date: 2004-01-08 02:32 pm (UTC)You look almost exactly like Alison Blaire, the American pop singer. The resemblance is remarkable.
I just hope you sing better than she does.

Date: 2004-01-08 03:05 pm (UTC)I'm told time improves things, mmmm? Ask Jamie for the unreleased song tracks he's got stashed on the server, sometime.

Date: 2004-01-09 01:53 pm (UTC)So you are in fact her?
Date: 2004-01-08 05:44 pm (UTC)Wow.
I once got paid to make someone feel like she was you. Now that I've met you in person, it seems I really did a poor job with it.
Ah well. She was satisfied with the end result.

Yeah, that would be me...
Date: 2004-01-09 02:06 pm (UTC)It wasn't anything big...
Date: 2004-01-09 03:14 pm (UTC)All I did is make her feel self-confident and sexy. I'm not a telepath, I couldn't make her think she was you. It was fairly frightening - the girl in question had a bad complexion and was many, many kilos overweight. There are few things more frightening than a fat girl trying to gyrate on stage warbling bad American pop at the top of her lungs.
But she was rich, and she paid _very_ well.

(But if you want, I can talk to someone about helping you out. I think there should be two counselors anyway for when one has to leave the mansion for x reasons. Pun intended.)
