Please note!
May. 10th, 2004 11:51 pmAll students who have had dreams related to the Askani after the telekinetic earthquake on Friday night, please advise me of this in this post.
Furthermore, we are looking to archive any and all Askani songs and chants you may have witnessed during these dreams you experienced. Please consider helping us with this, to the utmost of your ability. These are the voices of a people who might go largely unheard and it is within your power to ensure that this is not so.
Here is exactly what we will do and how we will work - if you have suggestions to help better the process, by all means, let us know.
Appointments will be made with you in the recording studio and we will meet on an individual basis with each student who had Askani Dreams.
We will start by going over the memories you still retain of these dreams until we get down on paper and on track everything that can be remembered
Using a series of mundane mnemonics exercises, we will go over your memories again, to see what else can be brought back. Think meditative trances and the like.
Finally and only with your permission and if you are comfortable with this, the use of mild telepathy will come into play, to restore and literally live through the memories of your dreams, retrieving every single instant as perfectly as possible
Group sessions can be held afterwards, as the Askani were a clan culture and there is no doubt the music involved group singing as well.
Afterwards Nathan and I will go over all of his memories, and lay that down to track as well. Everything will be cleaned up and polished, keeping to the spirit and way the songs were created, as much as possible. Your participation in this process is welcome as well.
This will take... time. A lot of time.
So. Who wants in?
