I want to thank everyone for sharing their memories of Jean at Sunday's service. It was just what she would have wanted us to do. Alison's songs, the readings, and Jubilee's fireworks were perfect.

I also am sorry if I have been a bit distant and touchy lately. I am trying to get back to my old self (which shouldn't please anyone, I know), and your concern for me has helped me get back on my feet.

But - I haven't forgotten about finals! Instead of something formalized, I will just try to catch you as our schedules permit.

I'm also trying to catch up on all the new students that have arrived in the past few days. Anyone a telekinetic? I will need some help with the energy projectors final, unless the Professor approves of the Danger Room as an alternate location.

Sorry if I was a pain in the ass on the plane, Mr. Summers, I didn't know. And I'm really sorry about your Dr. Grey, it sounds like she was a neat lady.

Wish I could help with your energy projectors thing, but unless you want moving targets, I don't think I've got what it takes. :) When do we start signing up for new classes? I put my name down for the self-defense thing that you mentioned, and Ms. Frost's psychic stuff, but those are just special sessions, right?

Professor Summers, I wanted to say I'm sorry. Dr. Grey was a remarkable woman.

As for finals, I'm not exactly a teke but if they've got any metal in them, I'm happy to play one for the day.
