Mr. al-Rashid was seriously injured this week and is currently being treated in medlab. His condition is stable but serious, and the doctors are going to need to be devoting the vast majority of their attention to helping him for the foreseeable future. What Doctor Bartlett said earlier about no unnecessary visits to the medlab stands; because of the circumstances surrounding Haroun's injury they need to take special precautions that aren't compatible with having extra people wandering around underfoot.

Anyone who would like to help out with deliveries of food and so forth to the medlab can coordinate through the helpers. I think Jubilee's already assisting on that front, but additional people would be welcome. There have already been a few days of very long hours and that's liable to go on for a while. The best thing the rest of us can do is make sure that it's made as easy on the medical staff as possible.

Mr. al-Rashid's classes can be considered on indefinite hiatus - and yes, I know they haven't started yet. Although we'll see what we can do about the Flight class as soon as possible.

Dude, what breaks a guy with a plastic butt?

... Nevermind. Don't wanna know. Don't wanna think about it. Anyway, totally can help on the food front, whatever anybody needs, cause yo, I dunno what Forge's doin down there but he hasn't been in the room in like a day and a half and man, somebody's gonna have to remind him to eat and shower. Mostly the last part, he starts to smell like a couple of socks when he forgets.

And not like, clean white socks, but dude, totally like, those thin black ones that your mom makes you wear with a suit and like, fifteen minutes later, they have holes and don't smell good at all.

I've been coordinating with the medlab helper types to get food to the docs. If you want to take care of the 'making sure they eat and shower' part, I can take care of the 'getting you the food to make them eat' part.

You are so going to be my new favourite if you don't watch it, mister.

I've been keeping an eye on Forge as best I can, but do feel free to come down and beat him up/drag him into the locker rooms for a shower.

I'd do it myself, but I need to take a shower as well, and well, sharing showers with my genius partner is just a little too personal for me, thanks.

In other news: Jubes, you're totally my hero.

Of course I am, it's only natural afterall...*snickers* Okay, so can't keep that up. Any particular favourites in the food like catagory? I've been making sure everyone gets at least one of their favourite foods, considering what you're all doing down there. Oh, don't forget Dani, in the hero category either, she's the one cooking all this stuff.

Of course! That fabulousness that is you!

I have an unhealthy amount of love for apples. And baby carrots! Even the fake baby carrots, that are actually regular sized carrots made into teeny pieces. And I can't even go orange if I eat too many, it's fantastic.

You guys are all my heroes. I freaking love this school.

Apples, check. Want me to cut them up into little pieces, or do you want the apple in all it's glory? I tend to cut them in quarters so they're easier to munch on but that's just me.

And baby carrots it is, as well as carrots cut to look like little sticks, and did you want mayo to dip them in, or some kind of salad dressing? Carrot sticks and mayo are much of the love for me. Can also cook the carrot sticks, as I'm sure people are giving me weird looks now but raw carrot sticks and mayo, yum.

Pieces please!

Mayo and dressing is kind of REALLY against my diet, but thank you. And no cooking! The best part about carrots is the way they crunch!

(Anyone says a word about if I'd like some oats as well, maybe some hay, and they're getting a testtube in the eye...)

question

Could Doug teach Arabic? (if he y'know wants to and whatnot, he doesn't have to) I was hoping to take the class this year too.

if not, that's cool. I know he has other priorities and Mr. al-Rashid has to get better.
