General announcement to all students
Sep. 3rd, 2005 10:18 pmMr. al-Rashid was seriously injured this week and is currently being treated in medlab. His condition is stable but serious, and the doctors are going to need to be devoting the vast majority of their attention to helping him for the foreseeable future. What Doctor Bartlett said earlier about no unnecessary visits to the medlab stands; because of the circumstances surrounding Haroun's injury they need to take special precautions that aren't compatible with having extra people wandering around underfoot.
Anyone who would like to help out with deliveries of food and so forth to the medlab can coordinate through the helpers. I think Jubilee's already assisting on that front, but additional people would be welcome. There have already been a few days of very long hours and that's liable to go on for a while. The best thing the rest of us can do is make sure that it's made as easy on the medical staff as possible.
Mr. al-Rashid's classes can be considered on indefinite hiatus - and yes, I know they haven't started yet. Although we'll see what we can do about the Flight class as soon as possible.

Date: 2005-09-04 05:59 pm (UTC)I've been keeping an eye on Forge as best I can, but do feel free to come down and beat him up/drag him into the locker rooms for a shower.
I'd do it myself, but I need to take a shower as well, and well, sharing showers with my genius partner is just a little too personal for me, thanks.
In other news: Jubes, you're totally my hero.

Date: 2005-09-04 06:23 pm (UTC)I have an unhealthy amount of love for apples. And baby carrots! Even the fake baby carrots, that are actually regular sized carrots made into teeny pieces. And I can't even go orange if I eat too many, it's fantastic.
You guys are all my heroes. I freaking love this school.

Date: 2005-09-04 06:33 pm (UTC)And baby carrots it is, as well as carrots cut to look like little sticks, and did you want mayo to dip them in, or some kind of salad dressing? Carrot sticks and mayo are much of the love for me. Can also cook the carrot sticks, as I'm sure people are giving me weird looks now but raw carrot sticks and mayo, yum.

Date: 2005-09-04 06:41 pm (UTC)Mayo and dressing is kind of REALLY against my diet, but thank you. And no cooking! The best part about carrots is the way they crunch!
(Anyone says a word about if I'd like some oats as well, maybe some hay, and they're getting a testtube in the eye...)
