Holiday weekend

Well, it looks like my parents made plans to go to my aunt's in Lubbock for Thanksgiving. And given that I just went to see them (and really don't like my cousins, absolute troglodytes, really) - looks like I'm joining the ranks of those chowing down on Thanksgiving dinner here.

Who else is staying in for the holidays?

not me, I'm going to be "pointedly existing" at my mom's and if that sucks as badly as I think it will, I'll go to my dad's.

or maybe, it if is bad as I think it will be, I'll go to Australia. it's warm there.

I'll be staying, actually. Since Christmas is with the family (well, both families since Hank and I will be doing the highly scary and combining the two for one large bash) and New Year's is in Scotland, we figured Thanksgiving ought to be here. Besides, it gives Moira and Jean the chance to flee should they so wish.
