Sir, if you want we can change the program to require that... at least the minimum characters and letter-number combinations. I could write a program to send out regular emails to change passwords too, although personally I hate thoes things...

Thank you, Kitty, on both counts.

For the moment, I'd prefer to leave it to the user's preference... in a large part, I'll have to admit, due to a wish not to end up with more "I forgot my password" notes in my email than I already manage to collect.

If you're looking for something to occupy yourself with though... feel free to write up the code modules and we can slip them into the system at such a time that we decide we'd like them.
